Scott Gorrell Fine & Commercial Art

Having lived in Arizona, Colorado, Alaska and now currently residing in Hawai'i, I have found much inspiration for my artwork. After graduating from the Colorado Institute of Art I worked for a number of years as a commercial artist in Juneau, Alaska. I've worked in pen/brush & ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylic and oil. Now I work primarily as a fine artist and currently make paper sculptures. I enjoy experimenting with the depth and texture the medium offers. Please feel free to peruse my work through this website, my Facebook page, Scott Gorrell Fine & Commercial Art and my Instagram page, scottgorrellart.

You may see my work at:

*Glyph Art Gallery, Holualoa, Hawai'i (glyphartgallery.com).

*Cunningham Gallery & Picture Frame Shop, Hilo, Hawai'i (cunningham-gallery,com).

*Volcano Art Center, Volcano National Park, Hawai'i (https://volcanoartcenter.org/about/).

*Polynesian Voyaging Society in Honolulu, Hawai'i (https://hokulea.myshopify.com) carries prints of my work, and the original artwork, "Star of Gladness"-Hokule'a voyaging wa'a (canoe)- may be viewed in their office.

If you have a specific idea and subject matter you would be interested in, please contact me or one of the fine art galleries who represent my work.

  Mahalo, Scott Gorrell.
